Keyboard Inhibit Switch

Pictured to the right, the keyboard inhibit switch prevents unauthorized access to the system by disabling the keyboard, thus, preventing any keystrokes on the keyboard from reaching the system after this switch has been pressed. To be an effective deterrent to unauthorized users, the upper bezel door must be locked in position to cover the switch. Pressing the keyboard inhibit switch again deactivates the inhibit switch.
