Note: Please enter the BIOS Setup Utility by pressing the F2 key and write down any settings that are not default settings so that they can be reconfigured after clearing the NVRAM.
- Turn off the server and disconnect the power cable.
- Remove the side service panel to gain access to the motherboard.
- Relocate the parked jumper on pin 9 of the BIOS jumper block to pins 3 and 4.
- Reconnect the power cable and turn on the server.
- Allow the server to complete the power-on self-test (POST). Turn off the server and disconnect the power cable.
- Move the jumper back to a parked position on pin 9.
- Place the side service panel back onto the chassis.
- Reconnect the power cable and turn on the server.
- Enter the BIOS Setup Utility to verify the configuration. Make any necessary changes.
- Press the F10 key, and then press the ENTER key to save and exit.
