  1. In Windows Server 2003, place the Gateway System Companion CD into the CD-ROM drive, and then allow the disc to auto-run.

    Note: If the CD does not auto-run, from the Start menu, click Run. In the Run dialog box, type: D:\Drivers\Periph\Network\Apps\WS03XP32\PROset.exe (where D is the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive). Click OK. Skip to step 3.

  2. In the Gateway Drivers and Application Recovery window in the Drivers and Application Recovery tab, select Intel(R) PROSet Utility and then click Install.

  3. In the Welcome dialog box, click Next.

  4. In the License Agreement dialog box, to continue after reviewing the information, select I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click Next.

  5. In the Setup Type dialog box, select Typical, and then click Next.

  6. In the Ready to Install the Program dialog box, click Install.

  8. In the InstallShield Wizard Completed dialog box, click Finish.

To view the PROSet software, right-click the icon in the system tray, and then click Open Intel(R) PROSet for Wired Connections.
