A: To clear the System Event Log on the Gateway® 9315 Server, perform the following steps.

  1. Power on the server, and then press the F2 key to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.

  2. In the BIOS Setup Utility, press the TAB key to select the Server menu.

  3. In the Server menu, select Event Log Configuration, and then press the ENTER key.

  4. In the Event Log Configuration screen, set Clear All Events to Enabled, and then press ENTER.

  5. Press the F10 key to save settings, exit the BIOS Setup Utility, and restart the server.

  6. The event log is cleared.
