WME859199, WME867445Q: How are failures in a RAID Mirror indicated by the Gateway 9315 server's embedded SATA controller?A: If only one hard drive is failed, the Intel® embedded RAID BIOS displays the following message during the startup of the server:
Warning : Array(s) in Degraded Mode!!!
Note: Where X is either 0 or 1 to indicate the drive which is failed.
If both hard drives are failed, the message changes slightly:
Port 1 is in a failed state
Warning : Array(s) in Offline Mode!!!
Note: The default configuration stops at this point with the prompt: Press any key to continue. To prevent the system from stopping at this point, under the Objects\Adapter menu, set the option StopOnError to No.
