Q: How can I make my USB flash drive boot to MS-DOS in order to perform system firmware flashes?

A: Depending on the manufacturer of the USB key, a different method may be required. There is more than one way to configure a USB key to boot to MS-DOS, however some methods can permanently damage the USB key. Refer to the manufacturer of the USB key device for instructions for that particular model.
