  1. On the desktop, right-click on the My Computer icon and select Manage.

  2. In the Computer Management window, in the left pane, select Device Manager.

  3. In the right pane, click on the box for Other devices. Right-click on Ethernet Controller and select Properties.

  4. In the Ethernet Controller Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab. On the Driver tab, click Update Driver.

  5. In the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard dialog box, click Next.

  6. In the Install Hardware Device Drivers dialog box, select Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended). Click Next.

  7. In the Locate Driver Files dialog box, select CD-ROM drives. Click Next.

  8. In the Driver Files Search Results dialog box, the driver is located. Click Next.

  9. The driver is installed. In the Completing the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard dialog box, click Next.
