Use this installation if installing Windows 2000 onto a computer with a freshly partitioned hard disk.
  1. Start up the computer with the Windows 2000 CD in the CD-ROM drive.

  2. After the blue text screen first appears and the installer is loading the mass storage drivers, The installer will prompt you press the F6 to install addition mass storage devices.

  3. The installer will display a screen for the installation of additional mass storage devices. Press the S key.

  4. Insert the floppy disk containing the LSI SCSI drivers into the floppy disk drive and press ENTER.

  5. The installer will detect the driver and offer one choice: SymBIOS Ultra3 PCI SCSI Driver. Press ENTER.

  6. When the installer begins copying files to the hard disk, you will need to insert the floppy disk with the driver once more.
