Q: What do the LEDs on the integrated NIC indicate?

A: The green link/activity LED is to the left of the connector. When it is on, there is connectivity to the network. When it is blinking, there is activity on the network card. When it is off, there is no activity or connection to the network.

The speed indicator LED is to the right of the connector. It is amber when functioning at 1,000 megabits per second (Mbps), green when at 100 Mbps, and not illuminated when at 10 Mbps.
