A: The server's BIOS uses 48-bit LBA addressing mode for IDE devices. Therefore, the largest supported IDE hard drive is theoretically 144,000-terrabytes (TB).

Note: IDE hard disk drives have not been tested on the 960 or 980 series servers and are not supported by Gateway.
