WME866319, WME868078, WME871305, WME876246Q: How do I rebuild a failed drive in an array configured using the integrated SATA RAID controller in the Gateway 9510 Server? A: When a drive is redetected after not being recognized, or a new drive is installed, the integrated RAID controller in the Gateway 9510 server is configured to automatically begin rebuilding any fault tolerant RAID arrays configured. The following message displays on the screen during the initialization of the integrated RAID controller:
"Port X is in a Rebuilding State" "Press any key..."
The appropriate logical drive status indicates Degraded after the key is pressed. Press the CTRL+E keys simultaneously to enter the integrated SATA RAID BIOS configuration utility. It displays a status bar showing the percentage of rebuild completion.
