Q: How do I remove or replace the power supply in the Gateway 9210 Server?

A: Remove the power supply

  1. Open the case.

  2. Inside the case, note the locations, and then disconnect all of the power supply cables from the motherboard and drives.

  3. Move the power supply locking mechanism down and away from the power supply.

  4. Slide the power supply toward the front of the case.

  5. Remove the power supply from the case.

Replace the power supply

  1. Align the tabs on the power supply with the slots in the case.

  2. Push the power supply toward the rear of the case.

  3. Secure the power supply in place with the power supply locking mechanism.

  4. Reconnect the power supply cables to the motherboard and the drives.

  5. Close the case.
