Intel(R) PROSet Application Installation in Windows 2003 Server

  1. In Microsoft® Windows® 2003 Server, place the Gateway System Companion CD into the CD-ROM drive and allow the disc to auto-run.

    Note: If the disc does not auto-run, from the Start menu, click Run. In the Run dialog box, type: D:\DRIVERS\PERIPH\Network\APPS\PROSet\WS03XP32\Proset.exe (where D is the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive). Click OK.

  2. In the browser window on the Drivers and Application Recovery tab, select Intel(R) PROSet Application, and then click Install.

  3. In the Welcome dialog box, click Next.

  4. In the License Agreement dialog box after reading the agreement, to continue, select I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click Next.

  5. In the Setup Type dialog box, select Typical, and then click Next.

  6. In the Ready to Install the Program dialog box, click Install.

  7. Files copy and the PROSet Application is installed.

  8. In the InstallShield Wizard Completed dialog box, click Finish.

  9. To open the application, right-click the network adapter icon located in the system tray, and then click Open Intel(R) PROSet for Wired Connections.
