This is a close view of the control panel assembly on the front of the case, with the front bezel removed.
This is a view of the control panel assembly from inside the case.

Remove the control panel assembly

  1. Disconnect the cables for the hard drive to allow room to remove the control panel.

  2. Press the release tab for the control panel assembly away from you, and then pull the assembly inward, away from the front of the case.

  3. Pull the assembly slightly toward you, and then remove it from the case. This clears the alignment tabs from the slots.
