Q: How do I remove a slot cover or replace a PCI card?

A:
  1. Remove the top rear cover.

  2. Locate the slot that corresponds to the slot cover or PCI card to be removed. Gently press down on the center of the corresponding retention clip until the center tab clears the opening of the chassis.

  3. Rotate the clip outwards to clear the tab on the slot cover or PCI card bracket.

Note: After the card or slot cover has been replaced, gently push the retaining clip back to the original location. Ensure that the slot cover or PCI card is properly seated or damage to the clip could result.
