How do I remove the SCSI backplane?

  1. Remove the RAID cage for the 960 server or 980 server.

  2. Loosen the captive thumbscrew on the SCSI backplane. When fully loosened, the screw stays attached to the backplane to prevent loss.

  3. Slide the backplane up slightly, and then lift it away from the RAID cage.
