Q: How do I remove the RAID cage?

A: Note: Depending on when the server was purchased, the logo may differ from that shown in the graphics.
  1. Open the chassis.

  2. Remove the hard drives, noting the position of each.

  3. Loosen the captive thumbscrews on the front of the RAID cage, and then pull it out about two inches.

  4. Disconnect all of the cables from the SCSI backplane.

  5. Pull the RAID cage straight out of the chassis.
