Q: How do I use the CD-ROM brackets?

A:

The CD-ROM brackets are used for mounting 5.25-inch drives in the server chassis.

  1. Open the chassis.

  2. Remove a filler unit from the 5.25-inch drive cage, and then remove the screws that secure the CD-ROM brackets to the filler unit.

  3. Use the same screws to secure the brackets to each side of the drive to be installed.

  4. Install the drive in the bay.
