Q: How do I remove the CD-ROM drive?

A:
  1. Open the chassis.

  2. Remove the floppy disk drive. If in rack mount configuration, skip this step.

  3. Inside the chassis, disconnect the data and power cables from the rear of the CD-ROM drive.

  4. On the front of the server, press the locking tabs on either side of the CD-ROM drive.

  5. Pull the drive straight out of the bay.

  6. The mounting brackets are secured to the CD-ROM drive with four screws.
