Q: How do I remove the power distribution board?

A:
  1. Turn off the server and unplug the power cords.

  2. Remove the power supply. While pressing the power supply's lever release latch, swing the lever down and away from the power supply.

  3. Pull the power supply straight out of the server.

  4. Open the chassis.

  5. Disconnect the cables from the power distribution board (PDB), noting the connection locations.

  6. Loosen the thumbscrew securing the PDB.

  7. Slide the PDB toward the rear of the chassis, and then lift it off the pins and out.
