NIC Status LEDs

Four NIC ports These are the four 10/100/1000 network (NIC) ports or the rear of the server. Markings on the server chassis identify the ports as 1 - 4.

Each port has one green and one orange LED that indicate link status, activity, and link speed. Refer to the following table for more information.

LED Name LED Color Description
LED 1 Green
  • On: NIC linked
  • Blinking: Gbps activity
  • Off: No link

  • On: Link speed 1 Gbps
  • Blinking: Link speed 100 Mbps
  • Off: Link speed 10 Mbps
