How do I remove and replace a power supply?

 This graphic shows the features on the rear of the power supply module used in the Gateway® 9715 Server. Two power supply modules can be installed in the server. Each module has its own AC input power connector and is rated at 1570 watts over an input range of 100-240 volts AC.

Item Description Function
A AC input power connector Plug in the power cord to this IEC320 15A connector.
B Power good LED Lights green whenever PWRGD is asserted.
C Power supply fail LED Lights amber when a power rail has failed.
  • The LED lights even if the power supply is in a latched state.
  • The LED does not light during a fault if the 3.3 Vstby is lost.
  • The LED does not light if the supply is turned off due to PS_KILL.
D AC OK LED Lights green whenever VIN_GOOD is asserted.
