This graphic shows two memory board blanks. Blanks are installed in any of the four memory board slots that are not used.

Note: The blanks maintain proper air flow to prevent overheating. If you remove a memory board in the server and do not intend to replace it immediately, install a blank in the slot to maintain air flow.
