The following table details maximum component case temperatures for motherboard components that could be sensitive to thermal changes. Case temperatures may be affected by the current load, operating temperature, or operating frequency. Maximum case temperatures are important when considering proper air flow to cool the motherboard.

An ambient temperature that exceeds the board's maximum operating temperature by more than 5° C can cause components to exceed maximum case temperature and malfunction.
