Q: How do I add a custom logo to my MP3 player?

A: Note: The Logo Editor software must be installed to add custom logos to your MP3 player. If you have not yet done so, install the Logo Editor software from the enclosed CD.

  1. On the desktop, double-click the Logo Editor icon, or from the Start menu, point to Programs or All Programs, Digital Audio Player, and then click Logo Editor.

  2. In the Logo Editor window, from the Tool menu, click Convert Image.

  3. In the Image Converter window, click Open.

  4. In the Load Image File dialog box, select the graphic you wish to convert, and then click Open.

  5. The graphic displays in the Image Converter window. The area in the outlined box is the portion of the graphic that will be converted. Click and drag the graphic to fit within this window as desired. To zoom in or out, click the Zoom check box, and then use the Hor Zoom and Vert Zoom sliders to adjust the zoom level to your preference. When complete, click Transfer.

  7. In the Logo Editor window, from the File menu, click Save As.

  8. In the Save Logo File dialog box, type a file name for the logo file, and then click Save.

Use the following steps to add custom logo files to your player:

  1. Plug the player directly into an available USB port on your computer, or plug the player into the enclosed USB cable, and then plug the USB cable into the computer's USB port.

  2. Windows detects the player as a removable disk drive.

  3. Open Windows Explorer.

  4. In Windows Explorer, drag and drop the custom logo files to the LOGO folder on the player.

  5. Turn on your player, and then press and hold the Mode button until the Menu displays.

  6. From the Menu screen, press the + button until (4)Logo displays, and then press the Mode button.

  7. On the Logo screen, press the + or - buttons to scroll through and highlight the Logo menu options.

    • Default - Set the logo to the default logo.
    • User - Set the logo to your custom logo.
    • Logo Disp - To turn the logo display on or off.

  8. To activate the custom logo, press the + button to select User, and then press the Mode button.

  9. On the User Logo screen, press the + or - button to select the custom logo you wish to use, and then press the Mode button.

  10. On the Logo screen, press the + or - buttons to select Return, and then press the Mode button.

  11. On the Menu screen, press the + or - buttons to select Exit Menu, and then press the Mode button.
