Removing a File From Your Jukebox

Note: You must use Windows Media Player 9 to remove individual files from your Digital Music Jukebox. To remove all files from your jukebox, use the steps to format the jukebox.

  1. Connect the jukebox to your computer by following the instructions in Connecting the USB cable. You must connect the jukebox to your computer before starting Windows Media Player.

  2. From the Start menu, point to All Programs or Programs, and then click Windows Media Player. The Windows Media Player opens.

  3. In Windows Media Player, click Copy to CD or Device.

  4. On the right pane, verify that Gateway DMP-X20 is selected, and then click Artist, click the artist's name, the album name, and then click the music file you wish to remove.

  5. Click the red X in the upper right corner to delete the music file.

  6. The file removes from the jukebox.

  7. After you remove the music files from the jukebox, safely disconnect your jukebox from your computer.
