Use the following steps to install InterVideo DVD player software for Microsoft® Windows® XP.

  1. Place the System Restoration Kit Application Disc into the CD/DVD drive and allow it to run automatically.

    Note: Starting with System Restoration Kit Application Disc Version 5.1, InterVideo is located on Disc 2. Use Disc 1 if the System Restoration Kit Application Disc is Version 4.5 - 5.0.

  2. If the CD does not run automatically, the installation can be started manually. On the Start menu, click Run. In the Run dialog box, type: D:\Winxp\Dvd\Softvd\Setup.exe (where D is the drive letter of your CD/DVD drive). Press the ENTER key.

  3. In the System Restoration Kit window, click Manual Installation, click InterVideo WinDVD, and then click Install.

  4. In the InterVideo WinDVD Lite Setup Multi-Channel Support dialog box, click Next.

  5. Click Yes to accept the terms of the license agreement.

  6. Click Next to accept the default destination location.

  7. Click Next to accept the default program folder.

  8. Files copy.

  9. Click Finish.

  10. Click Next.

  11. MS Help Workshop is installed automatically, and you are returned to the desktop.
