Create my Drivers and Applications CD(s) - Create CD/DVD

Create my Drivers and Applications CD(s) is used to create (burn) a backup copy of the drivers and applications that are included with the computer. This backup copy does not include the operating system. The backup created during this process should be labeled and stored in a safe place.

  1. From the Start menu, point to All Programs, System Recovery, and then click Create my Drivers and Applications CD(s).

    Note: If Recovery Media Creator is not listed, from the Start menu, click Run. In the Run dialog box, type the following, including the quotation marks, and then click OK: "C:\WINDOWS\CREATOR\CD Creator.exe" /drv

  2. In the Recovery CD/DVD Creator dialog box, click Burn ISO.

  3. In the Recovery CD/DVD Creator window, click Start Creation.

  4. In the Recovery CD/DVD Creator window, select the appropriate option and then click OK.

  5. The Recovery CD/DVD Creator writes the files to the Drivers and Applications media.

  6. After the Drivers and Applications media has been successfully made, in the Recovery CD/DVD Creator window click OK..
