Q: How do I configure Windows Media Player for the Internet?

A:

The client may receive one of the following messages or a similar message:

"Windows Media Player is not configured for the Internet" or "You must be connected to the Internet to update information about the Audio CD you have selected"

Perform the following steps if the client recieves one of these messages:

  1. On your screen, locate and click the Start button. From the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

  2. In Control Panel, double-click the Internet Options icon.

  3. In the Internet Properties dialog box, click the Connections tab.

  4. Click the Always dial my default connection option, and then click OK.
