The computer must be a member of a domain for this feature to be present. If the computer is a member of a domain, the Windows Security dialog box opens. If the computer is not a member of a domain, the Windows Task Manager dialog box opens.
Windows XP Home Edition cannot join a domain, the Lock Computer option is not available to computers with that operating system.
