Monitor controls These are the monitor controls on the right side of the Gateway® Profile 6 LCD monitor panel. The buttons are used to change monitor settings either with the on-screen display (OSD) active or inactive. Settings are saved even when the computer is turned off. Refer to the following table for more information about using the monitor controls.

  • OSD inactive: Press to select the video source. Press repeatedly to toggle through all choices.
  • OSD active: Press to return to previous menu.

    B Auto button
  • OSD inactive: Press to automatically optimize the monitor's image position, clock, and phase.
  • OSD active: Press to open a menu or setting.

    C Brightness/up button

  • OSD inactive: Press to adjust the brightness.
  • OSD active: Press to move up through menu selections and to adjust OSD options.

    D Contrast/down button
    Contrast/down button icon
  • OSD inactive: Press to adjust the contrast.
  • OSD active: Press to move down through menu selections and to adjust OSD options.

    E Menu button Press to view the OSD. Press again to to close the OSD.
