Q: How do I remove and replace the case cover on the Profile 5 computer?

A: Remove the cover

  1. Turn off the computer. At the rear of the computer, remove the cable cover, and then disconnect the power cable and all device cables.

  2. On the front of the computer, press the power button for several seconds to drain any residual power.

  3. Observe all electrostatic discharge (ESD) handling precautions.

  4. Remove the four screws that secure the cover to the chassis.

  5. Pull the bottom of the cover out about an inch, and then lift the cover off.

Replace the cover

  1. Align the tabs at the top of the cover with the slots in the chassis.

  2. Swing the cover down into place.

  3. Secure the cover with the four screws removed previously.

  4. Connect the power and device cables to the rear of the computer.

  5. Replace the cable cover.
