||After the thumbscrew (B) is removed, lift this handle up to open the right side panel of the case.
||Thumbscrew for the right side panel
||This is a shipping thumbscrew. Remove this screw if the right side panel needs to be removed. Replacing the screw is optional.
||By using a cable lock, such as a Kensington® lock, you can secure the computer in place. Using a lock also prevents the right side panel from being removed.
||Certificate of Authenticity (COA) label
||The COA label provides the product identification number for the Microsoft® Windows® operating system originally installed on the hard drive.
||This is the exhaust vent for the variable speed fan. Do not block this, or any other, case vent.
The variable speed fan runs at high speed for a short time when the computer is turned on, and then during use, automatically switches to the speed needed to maintain proper case temperature. When running at high speed, you may notice an increase in fan noise.
||Screw for the add-in card retention door
||This screw secures the door closed.
||Add-in card retention door
||Open this door to remove or install add-in cards. When the door is closed, it secures the cards in their slots.
||Plug the computer's power cord into this connector.
||Allows you to switch between 115 or 230 volt input. Before turning on the computer, verify that the voltage switch is set to the correct position for the power available in your area.
In the United States, the utility power is supplied at a nominal 115 volts at 60 Hz. Set the switch to 115 when operating the computer in the United States.
In other areas of the world, such as Europe, the utility power is supplied at 230 volts at 50 Hz. Set the switch to 230 when operating the computer in these areas.
||Serial number label
||Provides the serial number for the computer. Another label with the same serial number is located on the right side of the computer.

||Connect a monitor or other VGA display device to this connector.

||Connect a display device that supports S-Video, such as a TV or projector, to this port.
