I/O ports area

Note: The removable Gateway 2.5-inch USB hard drive is designed for use with the docking bay. Do not attempt to use other 2.5-inch USB drives with the docking bay.

 This is the area behind the I/O ports door on the front of the computer. From left to right, the features are:

  • 3.5-inch drive bay - shown with a docking bay installed. The docking bay accomodates an optional removable Gateway® 2.5-inch USB hard drive.
  • IEEE 1394a port
  • Microphone jack
  • Headphone jack
  • Composite video in jack (yellow)
  • Left channel audio in jack (white)
  • Right channel audio in jack (red)
