This document explains how to remove and replace both of these items.
Remove the power switch assembly
- Turn off the computer, disconnect the power cord, and then remove the left side panel.
- Remove the front bezel.
- On the inside of the front bezel, locate the hard drive LED in the bottom half of the bezel.

- Using your fingernail or a small screwdriver, press back the two clips holding the LED, and then lift it free.

- Locate the power switch assembly near the center of the bezel.

- Using your fingernail or a small screwdriver, press to release the two tabs on one side of the switch assembly.

- Tilt the assembly up slightly.

- If needed, use a small screw driver to loosen the two tabs on the other side of the switch assembly so that it can be removed.

- Set the power switch assembly aside.
Remove the power button
- After the power switch assembly is removed from the bezel, the power button assembly is visible.

- At each end of the power button assembly, press the clip outward, and then lift the loop up.

- Remove the power button assembly from the bezel.

Replace the power button
- Place the power button assembly on the inside of the bezel so that the clear plastic light pipe is facing up.
- Secure the loops at each end of the assembly over the clips on the bezel.

Replace the power switch assembly
- Align the power switch assembly over the power button assembly. Tilt it so that the clips on one side of the assembly fit into place.

- Press the other side of the assembly down until its two clips click into place.

- Press the hard drive LED into its clips in the lower half of the bezel.

- Replace the front bezel.
- Replace the left side panel, connect the power cord, and then turn on the computer.
