- Turn off the computer, and then disconnect the power cord.
- Remove the computer case left side bracket.
- Remove the computer front bezel.
- Inside the case, the front I/O assembly is located in the lower front of the case.

- Follow the assembly cables to their connections on the motherboard. Note these locations, and then disconnect the cables.
- On the front of the computer case, remove the screw that secures the I/O assembly bracket to the case.

- Tilt the I/O assembly bracket downward, and then lift it from the case.

- Use care when pulling the cables through the opening in the case.

- Remove the two screws that secure the I/O assembly in the bracket.

- Lift the I/O assembly out of the bracket.

Replace the front I/O assembly
- Align the I/O assembly in the bracket.

- Secure the I/O assembly in the bracket with two screws.

- At the front of the computer case, route the I/O assembly cables through the opening in the front of the case.

- Slide the lower tabs of the bracket into the slots in the case, and then tilt up the bracket into place.

- Secure the bracket on the case with one screw.

- Inside the case, connect the front I/O assembly cables to the motherboard.
- Replace the computer front bezel.
- Replace the computer case left side bracket.
- Connect the computer's power cord, and then turn on the computer.
