- Turn off the computer, and then disconnect the power cord.
- Remove the right side panel.
- Remove the front bezel.
- The power switch control panel is located on the front, center of the case.

- Follow the control panel cable into the case, and then free it from the clip on the top of the hard drive cage.

- Continue to follow the cable to its connection on the motherboard. Note the location, and then disconnect the cable.
- At the front of the case, press the tabs near the top of the power switch control panel toward each other, and then tilt the control panel away from the case.

- Lift the lower tab on the control panel free of the case slot, and then pull the cable out of the case. Ensure that the cable does not snag on internal components.
Replace the power switch control panel
- At the front of the case, route the power switch control panel cable through the oval opening. This opening has smooth edges to prevent cable damage. Do not insert the cable through any other opening.

- Tilt the lower tab on the control panel into the slot on the front of the case.
- Press the top tabs of the power switch control panel toward each other, and then insert them into the loop slots on the case.

- Connect the control panel cable to the motherboard, and then secure the cable under the clip on the top of the hard drive cage.

- Replace the front bezel.
- Replace the right side panel.
- Connect the power cord, and then turn on the computer.
