- Turn off the computer, and then disconnect the power cord.
- Remove the right side panel.
- Inside the case, follow the rear fan's cable to its connection on the motherboard. Note this location, and then disconnect the power cord.
- At the rear of the computer case, remove the four screws that secure the rear fan.

- Remove the fan from the case.
Replace the rear fan
- Position the fan inside the case so that the label on the fan faces the rear of the case and the fan cable is closest to the motherboard connector.
- At the rear of the case, align the holes in the fan with the screw holes in the case, and then secure the fan with four screws.

- Replace the right side panel.
- Connect the power cord, and then turn on the computer.
