Q: How do I remove and replace the rear fan in the 6-bay micro uBTX case?

A: Remove the rear fan

  1. Turn off the computer, and then disconnect the power cord.

  2. Remove the right side panel.

  3. Inside the case, follow the rear fan's cable to its connection on the motherboard. Note this location, and then disconnect the power cord.

  4. At the rear of the computer case, remove the four screws that secure the rear fan.

  5. Remove the fan from the case.

Replace the rear fan

  1. Position the fan inside the case so that the label on the fan faces the rear of the case and the fan cable is closest to the motherboard connector.

  2. At the rear of the case, align the holes in the fan with the screw holes in the case, and then secure the fan with four screws.

  3. Replace the right side panel.

  4. Connect the power cord, and then turn on the computer.
