AC97 WDM SigmaTel Audio Driver Installation from Gateway 901 System DVD 1.0 or Later

  1. With the computer in Microsoft® Windows®, place Gateway 901 System DVD 1.0 or later in the DVD drive. The CD automatically starts.

    Note: If this is the first use of the Drivers CD, the Gateway Drivers and Application Recovery program installs.

  2. In the Gateway Driver and Application Recovery dialog box, select Automatic Installation.

  3. After the screen refreshes, select the AC97 WDM SigmaTel Audio Driver check box, and then click Install.

  4. In the Automatic Install dialog box, click OK.

  5. Files copy.

  6. The Gateway Application Loader opens and the drivers are installed. If needed, the computer restarts.

  7. When installation is complete, in the Gateway Application Loader screen, click Close.
