Q: Why do I have a blue icon on my desktop with small pictures of a 1, an A, a down arrow, a keyboard, and a mouse?

A: This dashboard icon is installed with wireless keyboard driver WUR0401.exe. The icon shows the Numlock (1), the Capslock (A), and the Scroll-Lock (down arrow) keys. It also shows a battery meter for the keyboard and mouse.

The LEDs that are normally installed on wired keyboards have been removed for battery power consumption considerations. The battery consumption rate would be too high if these LEDs were installed on wireless keyboards. The dashboard may be minimized to the taskbar at any time by clicking the X in the top right corner.
