Computer right view This is the right side of the computer. The slot-load optical drive (A) is located on this side and the power button on the rear of the computer (B) is visible from this side. The permanently attached power/data cable is also visible extending from the rear of the computer.

Load a disc into the optical drive by sliding it into the slot, label facing front. Eject a disc from the drive by pressing the eject button on the Gateway One™ keyboard or by using the operating system's software eject.

Press the power button to turn the computer on or off. When power is on, the Gateway® logo on the front of the computer lights bright white.

The power/data cable plugs into the power adapter, which is then plugged into a wall outlet.
