- Turn off the computer, disconnect the power/data cable from the power module, and then disconnect all peripherals.
- Press the power button for two seconds to drain residual power.
- Open the case cover.
- The two Mini PCI slots are located near the middle, right side of the chassis. Slot 1 is closest to the outside edge of the computer and slot 2 is closest to the center of the computer.

- On the card being removed, disconnect all cables attached to the card. The number of cables attached may vary depending on the card used.

- Remove the two screws that secure the card.

- The card pops up at an angle, and can be removed from the slot.

Replace or install a Mini PCI card
- If you are installing a new card and have not already done so, perform steps 1 - 3 above.
- Slide the card into the slot at a 30° angle.

- Press the card down, and then secure it with two screws (either the screws removed previously, or those supplied with the Mini PCI card).

- If applicable, connect cables to the card.

- Close the case cover.
- Connect peripherals, connect the power/data cable to the power module, and then turn on the computer.
