IBM PCI Token-Ring Installation in Windows 95

  1. When the computer is started after installing the Token-Ring card, Windows 95 a New Hardware Found dialog box appears. Click Select from a list of alternate drivers, and then click OK.

  2. In the next dialog box, select Disk provided by Hardware Manufacturer, and then click OK.

  3. Windows 95 prompts for the Hardware Manufacturer's disk. Insert the drivers Disk 2, and then browse to or type the path to the Windows 95 driver location. Click OK.

  4. In the New Hardware Found dialog box, the path is listed. Click OK.

  5. Files copy.

  6. When prompted to restart the computer, do so.

  7. After restarting, the driver installation and the customized settings for the network can be installed.
