Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I just installed my wireless card under Windows XP and I cannot get wireless. What might be the difficulty?A: To resolve this, use the following steps.
- From the Start menu, Control Panel. In Control Panel, double-click the Network Connections icon.
- In the Network Connection window, right-click Wireless Network Connection, and then click View Available Wireless Networks.
- Select the available network that matches your Access Points SSID. Normally this would be Linksys.
- Click Connect. If "Connect" is not selected, click Allow me to connect to the selected wireless network, even though it is not secure.
- If a new window appears, verify that no options are selected, and then click Close.
Once this is done, you should be able to connect to your wireless network.
