USB ports

The USB port lets you connect devices such as joysticks, keyboards, scanners, video conferencing cameras, mouse devices, and speakers that traditionally have required their own specific ports.

The USB connections support Plug and Play installation, which means that normally you can plug a device into the USB connection and Windows automatically establishes communication between the computer and the device.

How to use the USB port

  1. Connect the device to the USB port. The USB-compatible device is automatically recognized and installed by the computer.

  2. If additional drivers are required, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
