- With Windows started, place the Portable System Restoration CD in the ROM drive, and then close the tray. The browser opens to the Reinstall tab. In the Install Options box, select Automatic Installation.
- Select the ESS Allegro PCI Audio (WDM) check box, and then click Install.
- In the Continue dialog box, click OK.
- Files copy, and the Gateway Application Loader screen appears with a notice to not press any keys or buttons during this process.
- On the Gateway Application Loader screen, click OK.
