Windows XP Driver or Application Installation from Disc

Note: It is recommended that you uninstall a software program before reinstalling it. Use Add or Remove Programs to uninstall software.

  1. With the Microsoft® Windows® operating system started, place the driver disc in the ROM drive, and then close the tray.

  2. In the Application Recovery Program dialog box, select the application or driver you want to install, and then click Install.

  3. Wait while the application or driver is installed.

  4. Press OK to install another application or driver. The screen flashes and then returns to the main menu.

  5. When you have finished installing applications or drivers, press Quit to close the dialog box.

  6. Restart the computer.
