Q: How can I put a lock on my notebook computer?

A:

Kensington™ The graphic to the left is an example of a Kensington™ lock slot. It can be identified by the size, shape, and an icon (usually a lock with the letter K or a chain as shown below).

The Kensington™ lock connection allows the computer to be "locked" to items such as a desk. Insert the Kensington lock into this connection and secure the other end of the cable to a solid object.
