Certificate of Authenticity (COA)numbers are not included in or on the Windows® manuals. Instead, they are located on a sticker that is attached directly on the computer case. It is located on the bottom of a portable computer or on the side of a desktop computer.

After April 17, 2000, the PID number is located on the COA sticker.
