Note:The Plug and Play BIOS must be set to No in the CMOS of a portable computer in order to recognize PC Cards in Windows NT 4.0.

  1. Go to Control Panel and double-click the Modem icon.View Picture

  2. Under Install New Modem, click Next to have Windows NT try to find the modem. View Picture

  3. A Standard Modem is found. Click Change to install a different type modem.View Picture

  4. Under Install New Modem, click Have Disk and insert the TDK Global Class Fax/Modem DF2814 V.34 33.6kbs driver disk into the floppy disk drive.View Picture

  5. Under Install from Disk, click OK. View Picture

  6. Under Models, select TDK DF2814C 33.6 Serial and click OK.View Picture

  7. The TDK DF2814C 33.6 Serial is listed as the new modem type. Click Next to finish installation. View Picture

  8. Click Finish to complete the setup.
